I strive to design for my users with empathy while having clear goals in mind to solve problems responsibly with minimal unintended consequences. I love to produce solutions for users through research, ideation, and my intuition as a passionate designer.
ABOUT ME
INTEREST IN ANTHROPOLOGY
Being able to interpret and explain the biological and cultural diversity of the human species has always gathered my attention. It allows me to better understand how people around the world find ways to live in today's society. I aspire to be able to design technology to cater to the needs of different individuals. Being a student in the humanities and social sciences has gave me core understanding of the importance of empathy and engagement.
TECHNOLOGY & HELPING OTHERS
I love learning about new technologies, and I also love to help others. Therefore, the biggest joys in my life comes from helping others learn how to use technology, or use technology to help others. I currently teach younger students how to code, and it is always a satisfying experience because not only does it feel great to help the younger generation, but I also learn new coding languages in the process. Because there is still so much more for me to discover, I can only hope that I can learn these technologies so that I can make good use of it. Whether it be for self improvement or making other lives easier, I hope to be able to make a difference.
DESIGN
When I have free time, I enjoy prototyping and designing app interfaces and sharing my work on my dribble account. Being exposed to human centered design and UX design during my time in University really showed me how there is a lot more that goes into design than just pure aesthetics. A responsible design practitioner needs to account for a lot of things and consider how their design choices can produce unintended consequences.
